Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Unlock Futurix Ltd ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Pastey app (the "App") and this website.

1. Who we are

2. The short version

• Pastey does not require an account and we do not run user profiles.
• What you save in Pastey (text, links, images and other clips) stays on your device and in your own iCloud account. We cannot see it.
• We do not track you, show ads, or sell your information.
• The only third-party service in the App is RevenueCat, which checks your subscription status.

3. Your clips

Content you copy or save into Pastey is stored locally on your device. If iCloud is turned on for Pastey, your clips are synced between your devices through Apple's iCloud service, in your own private iCloud storage. Apple processes this data under its own privacy policy; we have no access to it.

4. The Pastey keyboard

The Pastey keyboard shows your saved clips so you can paste them into other apps. It does not record what you type and does not send your keystrokes or clips to us.

5. Purchases

Pastey is free to use, with optional Pro subscriptions. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.

We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active subscription so Pro features can be unlocked. For this, RevenueCat processes a random, anonymous app user ID, your App Store purchase and subscription records (such as product, price, purchase and renewal dates), and basic device information (such as device model, iOS version, country and IP address). It does not receive your clips or your name. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR). RevenueCat is based in the United States; we rely on appropriate safeguards for this transfer, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, under Articles 44–49 UK GDPR. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

6. Contacting us

If you email us or use our support chat, we process your name (if you give it), your email address, your message and any attachments, only to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). We delete support conversations once they are resolved, unless the law requires us to keep them.

7. This website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

8. Children

Pastey is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Because we do not hold accounts or your clips, most requests can be handled directly on your device: deleting Pastey or using Delete All History removes your clips. For anything else, email support@unlockfuturix.com.

We may update this policy. The new version will be published here with a new "Last updated" date.
